The Jewellers Loop Pty Ltd is the company bringing the Q Report to the marketplace.

It was formed by a third generation Jeweller and an insurance jewellery claims specialist. Jointly they were determined to find a solution to a number of problems facing the jewellery industry and their customers.

When making that special jewellery purchase the jewellers were concerned that their customer did not have the correct, indeed if any, insurance cover; further they were often restricted from acquiring it due to onerous conditions. In addition, their jewellery valuations were rarely if ever updated, and compounding all these problems was that the premium charged was often unrealistic in terms of the actual value of the jewellery item, should there be a claim.

As a result, the Jewellers Loop developed a patented solution and sought out the right strategic partners so as to deliver a world first jewellery solution.

Firstly we partnered with a technology company Team Lucid, which had written numerous web tools for the jewellery industry. We then looked to find an internationally recognized insurance company who understood the different standards of gems and craftsmanship in the jewellery trade; furthermore one that respected the relationship of trust and confidence that a customer develops with their personal jeweller. The obvious choice was Chubb Insurance Company of Australia Limited. Chubb is known throughout the world. On a local level, they have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Chubb has the exclusive honour of being able to state with confidence that “much of the world’s individually owned precious jewellery is insured through Chubb".
